Burberry has a video wall up in there window on 57th Street (their website is also playing the same audio & video). Video monitors are definitely a trend. I’m seeing more and more of them utilized by different stores.

Bergdorf Goodman Window Displays

Lots of great new windows at Bergdorf celebrating the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” show by The Costume Institute. The show is running at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 5 through August 15, 2010.
These are definitely some of the best windows that I have seen in quite a while. And that is not to say that other windows have been bad. Quite the contrary. These are just really, really great. Try to see them in person. The intricacy of the paper work is quite amazing.

O Canada! I’d like to welcome those up North to the blog. This is a first posting of Canadian windows.
Jennifer Daubney in the Communications office at Holt Renfrew in Toronto sent me these photos of their current windows, “Croquet, Anyone?”. These have been set up in all nine stores across Canada to celebrate the arrival of spring. Mannequins play with giant mallets and brightly coloured croquet balls inside the windows. Check out the giant wasp especially.
