This page is a running tally of all of the nuts & bolts coding and aesthetic modifications that I’ve made to this site – a historical record for prosperity.
03.22.08 – anothernormal.com Flash site taken down and blog conversion begins. WordPress 2.33 uploaded. Kubrik template selected. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.
03.23.08 – masthead swapped out. categories created. blogroll created. “about” page created. Comment subscription, stats checker, and spam blocker mods added. Visit counter added to footer include.
03.24.08 – sendmail form mod added and tweaked. “send me email,” “what i use,” and “mod history” pages added. Menu bar php include created for head and foot. Logos added to footer include (I shoot Nikon at home, Canon at work, Apple Forever, Firefox is OpenSource).
03.25.08 – new masthead swapped out for previous one.
03.26.08 – implemented faster caching.
03.27.08 – added youtube support.
03.29.08 – upgraded to WordPress v2.5.
03.30.08 – added gallery plug-in for Bergdorf Goodman window display posts. Claimed blog on Technorati.
04.18.08 – added date and time javascript to masthead; added “RSS Feed”.
10.20.08 – begin documentation of Barneys, Bloomingdales, and Chie.
11.07.08 – upgraded to WordPress v2.6.3; NextGen Gallery 0.99.1.
11.08.08 – added “windows master archive” with parent/child hierarchy to “Pages” sidebar; added “Register” link to header and footer menu.
11.29.08 – upgraded to WordPress v2.6.5
12.10.08 – upgraded to WordPress v2.7
12.16.08 – added “in the media” page to highlight professional sites picking up on this one.

2009 – stuff happened. forgot to document.
02.24.10 – new masthead. became part of the twitterati. archive listings now collapsible. categories now fly out to individual postings.
03.02.10 – upgraded to WP2.92. installed pedro lamas’ jquery lightbox plugin (original jQuery lightbox by balupton) for nextgen gallery plugin.
03.03.10 – added jQuery lazy load plugin.
07.05.10 – upgraded to WP 3.0.
07.10.10 – enabled comment moderation along with deactivating comments on posts older than 30 days. this has been done in response to the ridiculous amount of bot spam received each day. spammers, leave us alone! you are unwanted.
