NY, NY (all along Broadway Ave)
Along Broadway, from Columbus Circle (59th St) to Mitchell Square Park in Washington Heights (168th St), is an outdoor public installation of approximately 18 large animal sculptures created by Peter Woytuk, a sculptor based in China, Thailand, and Connecticut (website here). The Morrison Gallery of Kent, Connecticut, the Broadway Mall Association, and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation collaborated to bring the event to light.

I hadn’t heard of the installation and just happened by chance to pass by the two pieces I have posted here, “The Falling Apples” and “3 Big Apples”. They were installed this past October and will be up till this coming April. When I have time during the Christmas break, I will take a long stroll and photograph the entire series.
