Bergdorf Goodman Windows, April/May 2010
“American Woman”

Bergdorf Goodman Window Displays
Manhattan, New York;
April 30, 2010

Lots of great new windows at Bergdorf celebrating the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” show by The Costume Institute. The show is running at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 5 through August 15, 2010.

These are definitely some of the best windows that I have seen in quite a while. And that is not to say that other windows have been bad. Quite the contrary. These are just really, really great. Try to see them in person. The intricacy of the paper work is quite amazing.

The Gibson Girl paper dresses in window 9 were created by Samantha Smith. More of her work can be found here.
