These are a dedication to Tony Bennett and he, in fact, opened their unveiling on November 20. A lot of work went into painting the wooden cutouts. I don’t know who the artist(s) was/were but they did a great job. And I think that they painted a couple of Barack and Michelle Obamas. Keep hope alive.

Bloomingdales has a great Gibson guitar and The Beatles window display going on right now. The mannequin in the second window has the dress that Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth) wore for the Marc Jacobs 2008 fashion show. I still remember Daydream Nation like it was yesterday. I can’t believe that it was 21 years ago. Definitely one of my top 5 albums of all time. Cross the breeze.
